Dancing Mother featured in Dance Magazine!

Dancing Mother had the honor of virtually presenting Elemental, a soft-time performance installation, at the Collegium for African Diaspora Dance (CADD) Conference that took place at Duke University in February 2024. This was Mother Mother’s first time attending and participating in CADD and it was a really moving and transformational experience. Adding to the magic and expansive creations of it all, dance writer, curator, educator and artist Eva Yaa Asantewaa wrote about the conference for Dance Magazine and featured Mother Mother and Elemental in her article. All together being a part of CADD was a beautiful and generative moment and Mother Mother is still celebrating all the activations it opened in her life.
