This Is A Congregation For Creators

Hello Radiant One! Welcome to Seed & Spark: Journal of the Fertility Abundance Garden. Thank you for being here and witnessing our labors to share our sacred stories. Our stories are our wealth and in the Garden we are discovering the bounty of our stories and how to apply that wealth to the cultivation of our abundance. The Fertility Abundance Garden is a congregation for creators, a sanctuary for mothers, and a dreamscape for sacred storytellers. To learn more about the Garden or to join as a creator, please visit the Fertility Abundance Garden Welcome Center. If someone forwarded this post to you and you want to receive your own, subscribe to Seed & Spark and receive the Fertile Friday love note every week that highlights new shares in the journal. So much life, labor, and love goes into creating and sustaining the Garden and everything we share. The Garden is sustained by the kindness and generosity of creators and supporters. If any part of our magical world touches your heart and nourishes your being as a creator, please do pour into our Giving Well or join a Sustainability Circle today. If you are already contributing to our bounty, THANK YOU FOR THE LOVE!

This is a congregation for creators

A magical world seeded for those who create, birth, and nurture life

The Fertility Abundance Garden is a congregation for creators. This language came to me in the first season of the Garden in April 2020. When feeling for the language of who the Garden is for, saying “for mothers and women” grew flat on my tongue. I wanted to be more specific, and also activate a unifying word that visibilized* and connected us in our labors across the many forms of creation. Creator felt extremely relevant and urgent to reclaim for myself as a mother, and I also felt it gave room for others to find their place within it and make it their own.

This practice of reclamation is a recurring theme in the Garden. We are continuously reclaiming spaces, meanings, and identities. Our stories are our wealth, and our bodies hold all of our stories. Where we place our bodies, the labors our bodies perform, and the narratives our bodies express—all of this invites us to be hyper-present with the responsibility to choose what is true for ourselves in every moment.

As creators it is our choice what we do with these precious breaths we get to breathe, where we are when we’re engaged in our labors, who we spend our time with, who gets to witness us in our living, and how we decide to tell the stories of what we experience and dream for ourselves. The Garden is a sacred communion of creators who consciously live together—from wherever we are on the planet— and share in the sweet, liberating labors of choosing, and being, and becoming our most radiant, honest, and heart-awakened selves.

The word congregation arrived with a surety in my heart very early on. It felt necessary to situate the Garden as a community of brilliant creators who are intentionally laboring into the depths and possibilities of our fertility and creativity powers. We devote ourselves to these labors, in diverse, multisensory, and intuitively led ways. Every creator chooses the pathways into her majesty, and discovers over time, and with continuous presence, what is generative, healing and soul-affirming for her life. Rather than dictating how or what any creator’s journey in the Garden will be, the soul of our congregation is nourished by a luminous, ever-evolving celebration of each creator’s divine creation intelligence. Just as the acorn knows its way into becoming the oak tree, every creator knows the way into activating her fully-realized, joyful and abundant self. We trust ourselves and each other to find our way, to feel for our Yes—however turbulent, messy, or uncomfortable the process may be— and to translate our genius into tangible applications of abundance in our everyday lives.

As a congregation we lovingly witness each other in the long labors of our sacred becomings. We offer presence, echoes, remembrances, and soft spaces within which to unearth, question, and reimagine the makings of our optimal soil of creation. In this way, being a part of our congregation supports creators in choosing herself again and again. We collectively hold up mirrors to each other, and share in the labors of reminding each creator how brilliant, how powerful, how magical, how essential she is in this moment of collaborative existence that we are all a part of.

One of the most radical elements of the Garden for new creators to grasp about our holy experiment is that our congregation is an obligation-free community. Everyone is invited to feel for her Yes, to embrace our Come As You Are way of life, to engage in as much or as little of the magic as feels true and good for her journey as a creator. Coming from the compressed, mandated frequencies of life in the outside world, the Garden might take some creators a while to acclimate to. We nurture slow, self-directed, soft-time adventures into our deepest, most illuminating stories and creations majesties. We support new creators in unlearning patterns of apology that come with living and laboring inside systems that do not sustain our highest vibration and seek to suppress fertility freedoms. There is no “late”, or “falling behind” in the Garden. All time is the right time for each creator.

This inherent softness is central in everything we do. The offerings in the Garden are shared with love and invitation—and without judgment or expectation. We practice this revolutionary softness with ourselves and each other because we find it cultivates a spirit of amplified abundance consciousness for everyone. The Garden is an activated portal of creators living into their Yes, from the tiniest whisper in your soul to the boldest affirmation shouted all the way to the moon. Whatever the current volume or frequency of your Yes, the Garden is a space to be tenderly witnessed as you labor into the inevitable heart spaces that will bring you into the fullest expression of your Yes.

What, when time is not an issue, do you sit with and really explore about your life and creations? What, since the only one you ever truly need to please is yourself, do you dream of and create? In the Garden we hold space for ourselves and each other, and unbury the truths of ourselves and our most vital creations.

This is the kind of space we are nurturing together in the Garden. Our congregation is an experiment in love, togetherness, and sistership. We celebrate each other for being here, and we recognize that each creator is bountiful and magical as she is. There is nothing you have to do to be worthy of being here. If you feel the Yes in your heart, then a place for you inside the Garden has already been made.

Birthing the Garden is a beautiful practice in becoming more receptive to the abundance in every moment. Every creator who interacts with the Garden in some way brings more light to our process. Her story, her presence, her explorations, her love, her prayers, her offerings—however they come—it’s all a gift. And seeing each creator’s contribution as the blessing it is fills me with so much gratitude. It all adds to the love-soaked vibrations of abundance that sustain my life everyday.

As Mother Mother of the Garden I pour my heart and soul into every aspect of this world and I know that, for all I do to create the magical entity that is the Garden, no one creator owes me anything for my labors. I choose to nurture this congregation for my own becoming, because this labor is a part of my sacred calling, a part of my responsibility as a creator and as Mother Mother. That this wild dream creates space for others, is healing for others, is generative and restorative for others, is an exponential blessing that I feel throughout every cell of my being—and I celebrate this magic everyday.
